Coronavirus and State aid – The European Commission’s views do not offer real solutions
At a press conference on 10 March, the European Commission proposed a preliminary plan to tackle the coronavirus threat, which the European economy is facing currently. However, the current State aid regulation does not provide realistic solutions for Member States and aid might not expected in the near future either.
