Triniti Jurex represented the interests of the client Aljansas AIBĖ before the State Patent Office in a claim for a declaration of trademark invalidity. A figurative trademark “Marijampolės cukrus” was registered in the name of UAB Išmanios trąšos, which is identical to Alijansas AIBĖ’s previously registered trademark.
By invalidating the registration of the trademark identical to the Client’s trademark owned by UAB Išmanios trąšos, the interests of the Client as the owner of the trademark were protected and the unfair use of the reputation of the trademark and confusion of consumers were prevented.
