Law firm TRINITI advised the Estonian software company Iglu OÜ on its sale to Telia Estonia. As a result of the transaction, Telia will acquire Iglu to strengthen its position as an IT partner for large enterprises and to add software development capabilities to its telecommunications and IT infrastructure services. The transaction is still subject to approval by the Competition Authority.
Iglu OÜ is well known for its software development expertise and large-scale IT-projects and has been a trusted external IT partner for Telia, contributing to the development of Mobile-ID, the self-service portal, and various mobile services. Iglu has also provided services to LHV, Eesti Energia, Omniva, and has been involved in the development of the new Health Portal. Following the transaction, Iglu will continue as a Telia subsidiary, retaining its name and current management.
TRINITI’s team advised the seller throughout the contract negotiations and execution of the deal. The project was led by attorney-at-law and transaction team head Siim Maripuu, with support from attorney-at-law Mikk Põld.
