TRINITI acted as an Estonian counsel for Upty, an online resale e-store, in acquiring its Finnish competitor Rekki. Upty (https://upty.ee/), established in 2018 in Estonia, is a web-platform which makes selling clothing online easy. According to Upty’s CEO Sergei Brek “Adding a well-established ecom player like Rekki to a fast-growing Upty platform marks the creation of a serious circular economy player, not just in the geographies where we currently operate but across all of Europe as eco-friendly fashion practices continue to gain traction in the market.”
The transaction was advised by Valter Võhma in co-operation with a Finnish counsel Nordic Law.
