{"id":17509,"date":"2021-01-05T09:26:17","date_gmt":"2021-01-05T09:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/triniti.eu\/insights\/eur-20-million-grant-fund-to-help-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-maximise-their-intellectual-property-assets\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T13:39:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T13:39:39","slug":"eur-20-million-grant-fund-to-help-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-maximise-their-intellectual-property-assets","status":"publish","type":"insights","link":"https:\/\/triniti.1kdigital.com\/lv\/insights\/eur-20-million-grant-fund-to-help-small-and-medium-sized-enterprises-maximise-their-intellectual-property-assets\/","title":{"rendered":"EUR 20 million grant fund to help small and medium-sized enterprises maximise their intellectual property assets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\r\n\r\nWe are glad to inform you on the launch of an EUR 20 million grant fund, which provides IP vouchers to help small and medium-sized enterprises based in the European Union to access and benefit from their intellectual property (IP) rights.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOpen to all enterprises in the EU that fit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/growth\/smes\/sme-definition_en\">official definition of a SME<\/a>, the new scheme offers\u00a0financial support in the form of reimbursements\u00a0for trademark and design application and for IP pre-diagnostic services (IP Scan),\u00a0up to a maximum amount of EUR 1 500 per business.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIt opens for applications on<strong>\u00a011 January 2021\u00a0<\/strong>in the first of five application windows that will run throughout 2021.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe new scheme is run through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/euipo.europa.eu\/ohimportal\/en\/online-services\/ideas-powered-for-business\">Ideas Powered for Business programme<\/a>\u00a0at the EUIPO, and forms part of the European Commission\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/IP_20_2187\">IP Action Plan<\/a>. It is carried out in cooperation with the national and regional intellectual property offices of the EU.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIntellectual property increases the value of a company and helps to obtain financing and increase profits.
