For more than a year, Triniti Jurex’s procurement team has been working to protect the client’s interests byincreasing the price of the public procurement contract. Our mission was to help the client’s (the contractor’s) business that was harmed by drastically increased costs of the contract, caused by the war in Ukraine, the dramatically high inflation in Lithuania, disrupted supply chains, and other unexpected circumstances.
The client and the Triniti Jurex team made every effort to resolve the dispute with a balanced agreement between both parties (negotiations lasted almost half a year). However, the frustration and uncertainties during negotiation led to legal action on behalf of the client.
The consistent work of the Triniti Jurex team on behalf of the client resulted in a favorable court ruling by which the price of the public procurement contract was increased by more than EUR 120 000. This is one of the largest amounts awarded to a contractor by a court ruling regarding procurement contract price changes in recent years.
