Zane has significant experience in Competition law in representing clients across various business areas. Zane has provided legal support to clients of both the private and public sectors representing them in the Competition Council of Latvia, the national court, the European Commission, and the Court of Justice.

In her extensive legal practice, Zane has represented clients on various Competition Law cases on prohibited agreements, including cartel, dominant position, prohibited merger, and state aid issues, including in administrative investigations and civil claims.

Zane has represented client interests in the merger prior notification procedures to receive a permit for the merger. Zane leads seminars and prepares individual competition compliance programs that provide good risk management tools and ensure reliability in public procurements.
